Spring’s Path
Aurora’s birds, in vigorous chorus,
celebrate arrival of green days.
Fields that had declined into
dry, brown stubble are
a wonder of new shoots.
Tiny insects emerge into warmth.
Immense skies fill with
golden light, as spring
moves along its steady path.
Lainie Senechal
“Sitting quietly,
Doing nothing,
Spring comes
And the grass grows,
By itself.”
Lovely!
